So my baby boy is now 1 month old, and my baby girl is going to be 2 1/2 on Christmas! AHHHH It is going by SO fast! So here is a family picture that we took, it isn't the greatest, but it has all of us in it, so it will work, the last family photo that we had was when braiz was born! I know, Im horrible.

Truxton Ricks

This is the story of Truxton Rhett Ricks

I had been trying to walk, and just keep moving as much as I could so that I could have this little man early, because we had a vacation planned for the 23rd, two days after his due date. Anyways, Rhett and I went out to eat for our anniversary on the 9th, and while we were eating, I started having contractions that hurt pretty bad, but I thought that they should be stronger before we went into the hospital, but I kept having them the whole time we were out eating, and said that if they were like this once we got closer to rexburg I would go in, but they stopped as soon as we got in the truck. The next day we went up to the hospital because my friend Lindsey had her little girl, and right as we were getting ready to leave, our doctor walked into the room and couldn't believe that I hadn't had Truxton yet. He told me to go back into his office in a few hours.

When we went back in, he checked me, and I was dilated to a 4 and was 100 percent effaced, he told us that the next time that I even thought I was having a contraction to head up to the hospital and that he would have everything ready for me.

Not even an hour later I started to have contractions, so we headed up to the hospital.

Once we got all checked in and shown to my room, I changed into the hospital gown and the doctor was right there to break my water. They asked me if I wanted an epidural yet, and I told them that I wanted one, but that the pain wasn't that bad. Soon the doctor came in and gave me the epidural, which Rhett thought was the coolest part of everything.

The epidural worked great, I had absolutely no pain whatsoever! It slowed down my contractions though, so I pretty much just hung out with Rhett for 7 hours until I was dilated enough to push.

Everything went great and was so much easier than Braizleys was, and I thought that hers was good too. Once they got Truxton out, the doctor was pulling out the umbilical cord, and was like I can't believe this, look. he showed us his cord, and it had a true knot in it. he said that having a true knot was pretty rare, and that he was a miracle baby because the knot was so tight, and his due date wasn't for another 2 weeks.

I am so thankful to have my little Truxton here, and so thankful that we saw our doctor in the hospital that day, or I would have waited another 4 days till I saw him again, and who knows what could have happened. I am thankful for my little family, they mean the world to me and I love them all so much!

Halloween and an Update.

We had such a fun halloween this year, we went to boo at the zoo, in Idaho Falls, and Braizley loved it. she had so much fun running around getting candy and seeing all of the animals, and getting to be there with both of the grandparents was a bonus, she loves them all so much. We also went to our wards trunk or treat, and had a blast there as well. Braizley dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, and told everyone that Roxie our little pom was the Big Bad Wolf!

We also had such a fun time at Grammys house a few days before Halloween. We went down there with all of the cousins and did crafts, painted, made halloween shirts, and had some yummy food.

And we also went into the doctor today, and he was surprised at how low this baby was, and pretty much said that I could have this baby way soon, and that if I havent had it by monday, which is our next apt. then we can set a day to be induced! YAY I am so excited. I am so ready to have this little man here with us.

First things first...this picture is from when I sent braizley up on the farm with Rhett for 20 min. hah, she got into a sucker and there was a tun of dirt and stuff stuck to her face. the rest of the photos are of us going to the pumpkin patch down the road, braiz was so excited! we picked pumpkins, ate some yummy wingers take out, and then painted pumpkins.

My little Braizley girl is getting so big! I love it and hate it at the same time. Some of the cute things that she has been doing lately are.
~ randomly start to sing {do as i'm doing, follow follow me} & {I am a child of God}
~ tells everyone that she is a PINK PRINCESS
~ tells her daddy that she wants to go to work with him every morning
~ anytime she does anything she yells out (watch me)
~ loves to take baths
~ will only ride her orange bike that pops bought her

I love this girl with all my heart. She knows just how and when to make me smile. She is going to be a great big sister to her little brother that will be here in november.

Wow! I haven't posted on our blog in forever. We have been way busy though. I have been busy with photography these last few weeks, and am so excited for you all to see them all when they are done. I have also been feeling much better, so Braiz and I have been doing a lot of fun stuff. we went to the drive in movie and saw cars2, we have gone to the water park, with both nannies, we have gone camping, we have gone up to medicine lodge and spent a few days with my family, we have rode the motorbike and four wheeler out on the farm with daddy to check water, played on the swings...you get the point.
I have also had a few more doctors appointments, and I am so excited that my doctor said I can deliver 2 WEEKS EARLY!!! Yay! I am so excited, we are going to Florida nov. 23rd so that will give me enough time to feel better before we go.
Braiz has hit the tantrum stage of a 2 year old. She just misses her daddy, everyday before Rhett goes to work, we get a nice little scene of braiz crying on the floor and screaming that she wants to go with her daddy...this is only funny when she wants to go to work with daddy, otherwise not so much. She is talking like crazy, and loves playing kitchen. I just love this little girl.

I am so excited that we are going to be having a little baby boy! we were at the doctors today getting the ultrasound, and it was a lot of fun, this little man would not hold still for a picture, he had his little legs crossed and trying to hide while we were trying to find out if it was a boy or girl, and then he would punch and kick, and squirm all around. I am so excited, I just know that he is going to be a cute little man. We could not be happier!

So...I have been way busy lately, between working, taking care of Braiz, and being sick, I havent really had too much time for anything.

Braizley has been begging me to take her outside every morning after Rhett leaves for work, but it hasn't been nice enough to go out the past few days, but this morning Rhett and I were talking to Braiz about how we are going to be going to Disney World and we are going to see the princesses and mickey mouse...and all that fun stuff, so once i got done doing her hair, she told me that she was pretty and was a princess. (I pitty pencess mama) so we went out and took some pictures....here they are.

We are so excited...we are going to have a {BABY} in November! Today I am 12 weeks!

This pregnancy has beed way different than when I was pregnant with Braizley! I have been way sick and tired, but I am doing so great now, the last few days I have been feeling great, only a few times a day do I feel not that great. But we are so excited to be having baby #2 in November.

Working out with The Biggest Losers

So I went to Logan Utah the other day with a few of my friends, their uncle Justin was on the biggest looser, and if any of you have watched the show, I bet that you were rooting for him. I know that Rhett and I were. But anyways, we went down to utah for three days, and got our butts kicked from Brett, and a trainer friend of his named Terry Kerrigan. It was so much fun, but first here is a video of Justin, it shows his before and after, and the gym that they are filming at is where we worked out with all the Biggest Loser Contestants.

So here is the story, we got to Logan around 7 and hung out there until Brett and all the contestants flew in, and got to the gym. Once they all got there, it was around 10pm, so Justin started a spinning class with us all. It was the first time that I had ever done that, so it was a whole new thing for me. It was awesome though, I was sweating to death about 2minutes into it, the ipod was on as loud as it could possibly be, and there is one bike open, and it happens to be the one between me and Arthur. Justin decides that we need to go around the circle and everyone do a dance move, as soon as it gets to Arthur, he tries to do one, and ends up falling off the bike right into the empty one next to me, I was a little shocked, and started to slow down because I thought he might be hurt or something, but as soon as I did, I got yelled at by everyone else saying he is fine keep going. It was crazy, and way fun, I didn't know that I could sweat that much either.
The next day at 5am we got up and went to a boxing class with Moses and Kaylee, I was so bad at boxing...I am totally blaming it on the whole 5am thing though, that is just {EARLY} if you ask me, but a lot of fun. then later that day is when we started to get our butts kicked from Brett and his friend Terry, I also posted a video of him to watch because he is just freaking awesome, I cant believe everything that he has done...

so they started us out with a three part test. There was a 3min, a 1min, and a 20min part. we started out with a 3min run as fast as we could, they took all these notes and asked a ton of questions, and then they had us run for 1min as fast as we could, tracking that as well. we then took a break and then came back and did our 20min test, where they told us a range of where we should be able to run for 20min at a steady pace. I think that was the hardest thing we did, they really made you push yourself, and totally knew when to make you push even harder. So finally after all of those tests, we were done for the day, we went and ate with them all and took naps because I was so dang sore.

The next day we got together we went over a few of the workouts that we should be doing, there are 6 levels, and Brett wanted us to do the level 5 & 6, so he did a bunch of warm ups with us, and taught us a bunch of different ways to loosen up our muscles, then we did our level 6, which was stinking hard, then our level 5, which was 30 on 30 off 10 times walk for 4 min and do it again...I was so worn out by then, my legs have never hurt so bad. It was way fun to be able to do that with them and meet everyone. We also did another workout with Brett where there was the whole community there, which was fun, but nothing like what we got. here are a few pictures of us all after our workout sessions with Brett and Terry.

What we have been up to.

Wow, it seem like I havent posted on the blog in forever! So here are a few things that we have been up to lately. Braizley is one wild woman, she loves to run, she runs around the house non stop all day long...I wish that I had some of her energy. Braiz loves her play horse, she loves her cowboy hat too, we were in cal ranch and she saw it and wouldnt let it go...so of course we had to buy it for her, she put it on and said yee haw poppa, yee haw poppa, so how could we not get it for her?

I have also been trying to do some new things around the house, so here are some before and after photos of what I have been up to. First is the closet, I decided that it would look so much cuter if it was painted the same pink as the walls, I think it turned out way cute. Next is braizleys headboard...I was a little worried about how it was going to turn out, but I love it.

And this is just too cute. braiz has had these boots for a while now, but has never really cared that much for them, until the other morning, rhett left for school, and braiz was playing in her room, and she came out looking like this, she kept tripping over them, so I took them off and put them on the counter, ran in the other room for a sec and came back out to find her on the counter top trying to put them back on. Oh how I love this girl.

I am so loving these pictures! Aren't they so beautiful! I have decided that I love anything that is rustic/old/antiqued looking! I am loving shutters right now, and am trying to decide where, what style...I am going to put them. I am loving shutters on the inside of houses, I think that they make it look more homey, and I just love it when I feel nice and comfy.

This one is my absolute favorite! I love the bathtub! I am a bath girl, I love just soaking in the tub right before bed. But isn't this bathroom just to die for...So cute!

I am so ready for summer to get here, I am ready for farming to start....It's a love hate sorta relationship. I love it because we are outside all of the time, we are on the rhino, hanging out in the tractor with daddy, and all of that fun stuff, but it also takes my husband away from me. I used to just go with him and stay in the tractor with him till 2 in the morning, but I just cant do it with Braiz. and for those of you who know me I hate being alone...so I just sit at home, locked up, trying not to jump at every little noise that I hear. But I love the summer, I am so looking forward to it, and I know that Braiz will just love being with her dad up on the farm. She loves her daddy. So for now, I will just sit here with Rhett and enjoy having him here with me right now, and think about warm weather.

I am so loving my little Braiz Face! She is such a doll! Really...She is! So, I came home from working out, and Rhett is trying to get her ready for bed, but she is running away from him to go stand alone and shake her bum...probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. It made my day. I love her so much...Then we sat down to say our prayers and read a story, and while I am reading her her story, she just snuggles up to me and puts her arm around me...Just about broke my heart, she makes me so happy and is such a great little girl. I am so blessed to have both her and Rhett in my life. I love them both so dang much.

I FEEL LIKE I HAVE JUST BEEN RUNNING IN CIRCLES LATLEY. WE HAVE BEEN HAVING A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS, I FEEL LIKE WE HAVENT HAD A BREAK. FIRST OFF, MY SISTER LACEY GOT MARRIED ON FRIDAY, SO WE WERE ALL WORKING ON SETTING UP FOR THE RECEPTION, AND TAKING IT DOWN....{SAD STORY} WHILE WE WERE TAKING DOWN THE RECEPTION, WHICH WAS BEAUTIFUL BY THE WAY, WE LOST TRACK OF BRAIZLEY...WE LOOKED ALL OVER THE CHURCH FOR HER AND FOUND HER IN THE CHAPEL JUST SITTING THERE WAITING FOR US TO FIND HER SINCE SHE COULD'NT GET OUT...POUR LITTLE GIRL. THEN WE WERE UP AT MY PARENTS WITH MY SISTER BRYN FROM KY. AND ON SUNDAY IT WAS MY BABY BROTHERS FAREWELL, HE DID AWESOME, HE IS GOING TO MAKIN GEORGIA! WE ARE SO PROUD OF HIM, HE IS SUCH A GOOD KID AND IS GOING TO DO GREAT ON HIM MISSION. SO BETWEEN ALL OF THIS, WORKING AT THE SPA, RHETT GOING TO SCHOOL, DOING A FEW PHOTO SHOOTS, TRYING TO BE A GOOD MOM, AND WORKING OUT, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE HIT A WALL. IM READY FOR A VACATION, WHICH IS GOOD BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO HIT UP BIG SKY THIS WEEKEND AND LEAVE BRAIZ WITH MY MOM. IT IS GOING TO BE A LOT OF FUN, AND I KNOW BRAIZ WILL HAVE A BLAST WITH HER NANNY. So...Rhett and I have decided that we are both going to workout and get into shape. I have been trying to go to the gym everyday, and have been doing really good so far. Rhett is trying to get huge, and knows that I am trying to tone up, so the other day he brought me home some of this.
I never thought in a million years that I would ever drink this stuff, but today was the first time that I tried it... and I really like it, my goal is to have a body like this {someday}

Thoughts

Last night I decided that I was going to be better in every aspect of my life. I started by downloading the scriptures onto my ipad! I love the scriptures, but have not been as good at reading them as I would like to be...but not any more, I will now have them with me everywhere I go...and I am so excited. In the app, there are some awesome things, there are all the photos that you can think of, all the extra tools that you might want, and a ton of extra fun things to go along with it to help me better understand the scriptures. One of my new favorites though is the quotes...this morning I found this one and just thought that I would share it with you.

I also decided to get up this morning and go workout! it was amazing...I came home and just as I did Braiz woke up and we got her all ready for the day...I feel so much better today than I have in a long time and plan on making this my everyday routine!

Christmas has been so much fun this year, Braizley is at a way fun age, and loved opening all of her presents. She was spoiled rotten!

We are so excited because our christmas is not over yet, we are headed to Kentucky to see my sister and her family! I cant wait! We are even going to see Rhetts mission in Ohio. Its going to be a lot of fun.

There will be a better post once we get home and I can get everything organized!

WOW I can't believe how the time flies. It has been three years since Rhett and I got married! It has been an awesome journey that we have taken, and I love every second of it. I still think its crazy...3 years...so I went and searched through all our photos and found this one from our wedding! It is my Favorite. I love the looks that we have in our eyes, when I look at this picture it reminds me of how in love we were...we still are...I love him so much, and he is such an awesome husband and dad. Today he took Braizley with him in the spud truck as well as our puppy, so that I could have a little time for myself. I love him so much! and am so happy that we have been married THREE years!

The other day I just decided that I was going to take down Braizleys crib so that we had no other choice but for her to sleep in her big girl bed that I made her...As I was taking it apart and putting it away I was thinking to myself that this probably wasnt one of the smarter ideas that I had come up with, but I wasnt going to put that crib back together because it took way to long to take apart. As night time got here, Braiz was having a hard time and Rhett and I were getting a little worried, but to our surprise Braiz did awesome, she loves her new bed and I cant believe how big she is getting! I love her so much and dont know what I would do without her! Its just a little sad that she isnt my baby anymore!

So I am so excited that today is Friday because
1: Its the start of the weekend
2: I get to go see my family
3: I have crafts to get done this weekend
I just decided that I am going to learn to do permanent makeup! and I am so excited...
I get to learn everything in just a few weeks. It has seriously been all I have thought about all day everyday since I got all the info. I also have to have some beautiful models that would like it done. This is a good opportunity if you are wanting to get it done because it is only 100.00 that is like taking 200-400 dolors off depending on the service. Wouldn't you just love to come home to a porch like this??? I know that I would, I am loving this look, I love the colors of fall...It just looks so comfy and country! I am so excited for Fall and I am wanting to decorate everything right now. I am using this photo as inspiration for my front porch.

After/Fair/Sink

I am so happy with how this dresser turned out! I love the color and I think that it looks so much more girly. It is perfect for Braizleys room!

We also ended up going to the fair with my family, Braizley loved the fair...her favorite part was the chicken barn, she would say wow and sorta bend over and shake her legs, it was one of the funniest things i have seen her do. We also went to the rodeo, ate as much fair food as we could, and just had an awesome time.

This is one of braizleys new things that she does whenever she sees sunglasses!

Braiz has also gotten really independent and doesnt want help with much anymore...including eating, so this is how our normal morning goes, we eat breakfast, get it all over, jump in the sink to wash off, doesnt want to get out. She loves baths in the sink...and I think that she is so stinking cute! I love her so much and dont know what i would do without her!!!!

It's been a long time

WOW I havent posted anything in FOREVER! So Just a warning...this is probably the longest post i have ever done.

First off we went up to my parents ranch on friday and Braizley loves being up there! she gets spoiled rotten by everyone up there, and loves being able to run and play outside with the cats and dogs.

Yes this is me.....in my shorts and new white shoes and everything...I havent been on a horse since i got pregnant with braizley and my mom pretty much made me get on this horse. It was fun to be up there, and see how much braizley loves the horses.

We just got our lights hung up in our kitchen and I LOVE them, this picture isnt the best, but it makes the kitchen look a lot better.

This is one of my new favorite pictures! I have no idea what Braiz is doing, but she did this all day up at warm springs with my family. Isnt she So CUTE!

I just had to take a picture of Rhett because we were getting everything ready to go camping and down in the crawl space we had our sleeping bags, so he was going to go grab them when all of the sudden all i hear coming from the back room is Rhett swearing...so i yelled at him and was just mad, when he came out into the living room with blood dripping off his face and all over his shirt, he tried jumping down into the crawl space and missed the hole!!!!! hahaha he cought his arm and smacked his head and even left a dent in the wood around the hole.

Its a good thing he has a hard head.

so we decided that Braizley was old enough to go on the tube at the cabin! we went super slow and she liked it until her face got splashed with water.

our little vacation

So Rhett and I decided to go on a little Harley ride...(a little over 400miles) We gave Braizley to my mom for three days and took off! We left rexburg saturday and headed over to Jackson, spent the night there and hung out. Then on Sunday we went from Jackson into West Yellowstone, It started out a beautiful day, and ended up being a nice day, but we got rained out a few times. We went to old faithful and just cruised through the park. We ended up at Mammoth Hot Springs for a few hours and had a tun of fun, if you havent ever been there, its a lot of fun, its a way cold river where there are about 5 different hot and i mean hot springs that pour into it, there are some pools that were made for you to soak in and it seriously felt like we were sitting in a hot tub. We then drove to Island Park and stayed at the cabin! I had such an amazing time with Rhett, we havent spent much time just us together in what seems like forever, so we had a lot of fun. And i know Braizley loved being spoiled by my mom the whole time we were gone. I have decided that this needs to happen more often than not.

Birthday Girl

Saturday we had a birthday party for Braizley! It turned out great, and she had a lot of fun with everyone that was able to come. I still cant believe that my baby girl is 1...but she is such a fun little girl. So for her birthday we had a pink party! we had a tun of pink food, and chocolate cake. I even decided to make her a cake, I had a lot of fun making it, and gained a lot of respect for all the cake decorators out there. We also rented a blow up jumper that I was praying she would love, but she would scream and not let go of you if we even took her close to it, so after a lot of the people were gone, we put her in there with lacey, teigan, rhett and I and after about five minutes she got used to it and sorta played in it. The birthday party turned out great! Thanks to everyone who came and made it great. Family Update

So we got our {first} family photos! and they turned out great! I {love} them....I know that I am the mom...but Braizley is the cutest little girl {ever} She is so funny I cant believe how much she has grown up in the last couple of months.

We decided to take Braizley to Bear World since I have never been there before, braiz loves looking at animals, and they were having a special! She loved it, every time that she would see a bear she would start waving at it!

We also have gone on a few harley rides since the weather has decided to be nice a couple of days. I know we arent supposed to take braizley on it, but we took her for a little ride and she loved it, she had a smile on her face the whole time and then fell asleep...it was so cute. We also went on a fun Sunday ride with everyone I cant wait for the weather to stay good so we can be outside more. I just have to keep a close eye on Braizley because her new favorite thing is to eat dirt and rocks. Oh and I have just one more story that I remembered. Braizley was with Rhett and braiz saw pops wallet, grabbed it, opened it up, grabbed out all the money, looked at it, grabbed the ones and the fives and threw them on the floor and started playing with the hundred dollar bill! {she must really think she is spoiled}

We have been way busy the last couple of months and I am a little sad that I haven't had the time to update the blog! Braizley has been growing up so fast. She is walking {more like trying to run} everywhere. She is into everything, and has 4 teeth! two in the middle bottom and two fangs in the top!

I have been working on my new blog {www.whitneyricksphotography.blogspot.com} go over and check it out, I have had a lot of fun working on it and have had some great people to work with, head on over.

We have also been going to all of Dax's high school rodeos! Braizley loves them, she loves chasing all of the little kids around everywhere. Dax is doing so good too, he is team roping and calf roping this year and is doing so good in both. {way to go dax man}

Here is a picture of my mom and Braiz at one of the rodeos, she loves every second of it and is such a happy little girl! Her smile and silly laughs always make my day!

I have started selling my bows that i have been making. They are so much fun to make and are so cute on little girls, I even wear them. Braizley has gotten so big in the last couple of weeks it seems like. She is a crawling machine and is into everything that she can get her hands on. She also decided that her new favorite thing to do is wake up at 4 in the morning and play in her crib until i come and get her to snuggle with her daddy. the little stinker.

So i enjoyed taking these pictures this morning sporting the cute bows that I sell from home and at Mommy n Me...so go and check them out.

MY BABY GIRL IS 7 MONTHS TODAY! I CANT BELIEVE THAT SHE HAS GOTTEN SO BIG SO FAST. SHE IS SO MUCH FUN AND ALREADY HAS HER OWN PERSONALITY! I AM REALLY EXCITED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE SHE JUST PULLED HERSELF UP TO HER EXERSAUCER!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT! SHE IS GETTING SO DANG BIG! HER NEW FAVORITE THING TO DO IS TRY TO STAND ALL BY HERSELF! SHE WILL SIT AND HOLD ONTO MY FINGERS FOR A SECOND AND THEN LET GO ONE HAND AT A TIME! THEN GET EXCITED AND FALL DOWN. SHE ALSO LOVES HOLDING ONTO YOUR HANDS AND TRYING TO WALK AROUND THE HOUSE! I LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL SO MUCH AND DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HER.

Braizley's ears and our new home

Today Rhett and I got up at 6 in the morning and went to go see if we could find some good deals in Idaho Falls, it was pretty fun, it wasnt as bad as we thought it was going to be. We got almost all of our Christmas shopping done! yay! and we decided when we were in the mall to pierce Braizley's ears! I cant believe that we did it, I was so worried that she was going to be crying like crazy, so we waited till we were done shopping and then did it, she did way good. she cried for a second and gave the lady that did it the meanest look i have seen, then fell asleep. she is so CUTE! this is the best picture that i could get without waking her up. we love this little girl so much.

We have also moved into our new house, we have been living here for 3 days now. we only have one toilet, and tub with water. we are just waiting on our counter tops to get put in and our sinks. it will be so nice. hopefully they will be in by the end of this week.

we love our new house, and here are just a few pictures of the outside and a few of my cabinets. i will post more once i have everything put in its new place.

Today I took Braizley to get her shots! she was such a good little girl. these are pictures when we got home. but she did amazing, she cried for just a second and it wasnt even a bad cry!I love this girl so much!

We also got a new addition to the Ricks side of the family! Mignon had her little boy Sterling on Saturday...he is so cute, i couldnt stop holding him, he is so cute! we are just sad that they are going to be gone soon. we are going to miss them. especially that cute new baby.

TRACTORS AND HORSE RIDES

Today we got to go and ride in the tractor with dad and had a blast! Braizley LOVED it! She really did. All she wanted to do was sit on her daddy's lap, or lay across mine and watch everything that was going on. It was SO adorable. Rhett really enjoyed it too, he loves working, but misses his little girl. He was so happy that Braiz liked being in the tractor with him, he can hardly wait until she is old enough to go all day with him.

We also went up to my mom and dads on friday, and Braiz sat on the horse with PAPA! I thought that it was so CUTE she is going to love going up to see nanny and papa all the time. She already smiles like crazy every time that she sees them.

Blessing Day & Fun Pictures

Yesterday was Braizley's blessing day! we were so excited, well Rhett was way nervous, but he did an awesome job. He is such a great dad and loves this little girl so much. Braizley looked beautiful in her all while outfit! We love her so much.

Family Reunion & Yellowstone

OUR YELLOWSTONE TRIP

the other day we took a trip up to Yellowstone! We went and spent the night up at the cabin in Island Park, and then got in the car and headed up to yellowstone. We brought the harleys and it was a lot of fun, Grant & Camille would take turns with Rhett and I in the car with Braizley. We went and watched old faithful go off and walked around the park for a little while. it was a lot of fun to just get away and go for a harley ride.

Braixley was smiling like crazy, so i was trying to get a picture of her while she was, but this is the best I got out of about 30 pictures.

This year we had the May family reunion up at my parents ranch! It was a lot of fun. Rhett and I took up the camper and it was our first official campout as a family. Braizley had so much fun she was so happy the whole time. Nan got her these way cute John Deere cowboy boots, and they fit her perfect! we love them they look so cute on her...thanks mom. We also went fishing, and Braizley and I cought 2 fish! We had a lot of fun.

Just the other day Rhett and Grant were in the demolition derby here in Rexburg. They were both so excited. Here are a few pictures of them and their car! They did awesome, the only time that i got worried was when the hood of the car blew out a tun of smoke and then a fire started under the hood. But everything was okay.
I even took little Braizley, she was so good, she slept through the whole thing! I couldnt believe it, I thought for sure I was going to have to go home early, but she is just the best baby ever, we love her so much.

Today our precious Braizley is ONE WEEK OLD! It is so crazy that our little baby girl is getting so big already. She is so much fun. Rhett and I both cant stop kissing her.

So everything in the hospital went really well. We didn't have any complications, and Braizley was good and healthy. She weighed 7lb. 6oz. and was 21 1/4 in. long

My mom came down and stayed with me for a few days. It was so nice to have her here. Thanks mom.

While she was here we tried taking some pictures of her, it was really fun because she let us do whatever we wanted and didnt even fuss about it. She is such a good baby. And we made the cutest bracelets for her. We had a lot of fun.

Yesterday Rhett and I took Braizley to get her newborn pictures taken, it was quite the experience. she was really good, but we went to lay her down in a basket thing and as soon as I set her down she pooped all over it. Then she ended up peeing all over me and all over the background sheets. We cant wait to get them back and see how they turned out.

Last night Braizley slept through the whole night! she didnt wake up once! Rhett and I dont know what we did to get such a good baby. She has been so good and fun, we dont know what we would do without her.

I AM THIRTY-TWO WEEKS

Ican’t believe that I am already 32 weeks along!

30 weeks

Today I am 30 weeks pregnant! Yup THIRTY weeks! Ahh It's so CRAZY to me. I guess that I just CAN'T imagine Rhett and I being a MOM And DAD. But WE are so EXCITED for our little GIRL to be here, just not so much on the part of HOW she is going to get here. THAT is what I am so worried about, I just TRY not to think ABOUT it. I feel SO bad for RHETT....I think he is SICK of me being all hormonal on him every DAY. Sorry BABE, I've been trying HARD not to be as bad and FREAK OUT on you every day over NOTHING! you are the best...THANKS for putting up with ME when I am acting LIKE a little GIRL! FOR some reason, WE can't seem to figure out a NAME! I have been looking EVERYWHERE, we bought a HUGE book, and I read it front to BACK and still no luck! It's a GOOD thing that WE still have a little while before SHE gets here...so until THEN I am still LOOKING for one that Rhett and I both LOVE.

Harleys and Birthdays

This is the first harley ride of the year! the boys were so excited. It wasn't all that warm outside so we were all bundled up, and didn't end up going for very long, but it was a lot of fun!

Tomorrow is Rhetts birthday! happy birthday babe, we love you so much! I have school all day tomorrow so we celebrated early. We went and watched the fast and the furious here at the rex, it was really good and it was so much fun to spend some time together before he has to be working all of the time and back to going to school! We are so excited, we don't have too much longer until our baby gets here. We cant wait!

Tomorrow is also my moms birthday. Happy birthday! you are the best mom ever!

My Clean House

On Sunday we went up to my mom & dads house. It was a lot of fun, we haven't been up there for a long time...So my mom has this steam cleaner that she cleans everything with that is so nice. Well since I have been pregnant I have been in this major cleaning mood all of the time, so my mom let me take her steamer and all day today that is all I have been doing. I love it! my house is so CLEAN! I was able to clean everything. Now all I have to do is talk Rhett into getting me one....

Kaua'i

Rhett and I went to Hawaii with all of his family for a week and had so much fun. It was so nice to get away and relax in the sun. The humidity over there made my skin feel amazing, and I could tell that the baby enjoyed the heat because she finally came up out of my hips while we were there and started kicking hard enough that you could see my tummy move every time that she kicked.

This is one of the many beautiful views that was right outside of our hotel. It was so beautiful and was right on the beach.

This is the lagoon that was just on the other side of the swimming pool. It was so beautiful, it is half salt water. And just on the other side is the ocean, where there was a monk seal laying every day.

Just in case you cant see what it says....W heart R....Rhett made it on valentines day, he also picked me a bunch of beautiful flowers and brought them back to the room for me. How sweet.

This is at the beginning of the boys playing water basketball. At the end they were all scratched and beat up and sore from their competitive game.

This was really cool. We had to drive a little ways back into the mountains and then hike into this waterfall and tree swing, everyone had fun jumping off the waterfall and swing.
